Fair Park has begun it's exciting new and expanded activities under the direction of Fair Park First, the outside agency selected by the city to bring new life to the state jewel.
Brian Luallen, it's executive director, explained the non-profit organization  oversees the management and stewardship of Fair Park, a 277-acre Dallas City Park, and National Historic Landmark. 
Fair Park has begun it's exciting new and expanded activities under the direction of Fair Park First, the outside agency selected by the city to bring new life to the state jewel.

It plans to:

Strengthen community inclusion and local programming at Fair Park (They have already had 450 community meetings)

  • Attract new events and organizations to Fair Park for daily and annual events/activities
  • Update and refresh of 2003 Fair Park Master Plan
  • Attract new tenants for underutilized facilities, and much more.
  • There are new activities virtually every day -- including the sold-out BTS concert and the upcoming Rolling Stones concert at the Cotton Bowl.

  • There are plans for a neighborhood part of 8 to 12 acres, a music green of 12 acres, gateway parks, a trail of 1.5 miles and much more.
