Are you a District 5810 Rotary Club interested in sponsoring a student for Camp Enterprise? Please follow our recommend steps!
Once your Rotary Club has decided that they are going to participate in The Rotary Club of Dallas's Camp Enterprise experience by sponsoring local students, we recommend the following action steps:
1) Reserve your space: Confirm with us that you will be sending one or more students by either emailing us or faxing us at 214.303.1260 the Rotary Club Registration Form to guarantee your space. Along with reserving your space you will also have to mail $350 per student you sponsor to: The Rotary Club of Dallas 1717 N. Akard St. Dallas, Texas 75201. This fee is your student’s scholarship to our Camp and covers all the costs of the student at Camp.
2) Contact your local student's school: Set an appointment with the school principal or appointed counselor to explain Camp Enterprise and determine which students the school would like to send. Remember: students of Rotarians are eligible to attend.
3) Set your selection deadline: Make sure your student(s) are selected and all paperwork is in by August 15, 2009. Also make sure that they have committed to make the entire camp September 10th-13th, 2009. We also recommend that the parents of the selected student(s) be contacted so that they are aware of the commitment.
4) Email or Fax Student Forms: We need to have the student(s) forms no later than August 15, 2009. Please see the forms needed below. These can all be downloaded off our website under Service Projects: Camp Enterprise!
