    The Rotary Club of Dallas (“Dallas Rotary”) has implemented the following Privacy Policy because we are committed to the protection of our users’ privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the information we collect from our users at www.dallasrotary.org in connection with the information we provide and the additional information our users may opt to receive. Most of the content the Dallas Rotary provides on the Site, however, can be viewed anonymously. This Privacy Policy discloses our practice with respect to the collection and subsequent use of our users’ personal information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or organizations that the Dallas Rotary does not own or control or to people that the Dallas Rotary does not employ or manage.

    Information Collection and Use
    We do not collect personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us or you choose to receive information from this Site where gathering personal information is necessary in order to deliver the specific item or information requested. If you voluntarily choose to submit a question to the Dallas Rotary through the “contact us” portion of the Site, we may collect your name, email address, and telephone number as well as any additional information you may wish to provide.

    If you are a member of the Dallas Rotary and register with our Site, you can have the office update your personal membership information including your: name, address, photo, event registrations, telephone and facsimile numbers, partner name, birthday, anniversary date, club commitments including committee membership, and business contact information. This collected personal information is shared with Rotary International and members of the Dallas Rotary.
    You may receive automatically-generated emails from the Site that are triggered when you perform certain tasks such as registering for an event or requesting a forgotten password. You may also receive emails from other club members. The Dallas Rotary does not control the frequency or content of member-generated emails. The emails may contain a banner advertisement at the top, however this will be clearly marked as an advertisement.
    We use log files to track system activity and maintain our systems. Log data includes IP addresses, browser type, referring and exit pages, platform type, date and time stamps, and number and nature of clicks through our Site. We use this information to analyze usage patterns, observe trends, administer the Site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Log files are not linked to personally identifiable information.

    The Dallas Rotary may disclose personally identifiable information when we believe that the law requires it, such as in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

    A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. We may place cookies or similar files on your hard drive to facilitate site navigation.     Rotary Dallas has adopted security measures to ensure the security and integrity of its users’ personal data. These security measures protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse or alteration.

    Editing or Deleting Account Information

    By using this Site, you signify your agreement to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
