Two Great Foundations | Two Ways to Support

Dallas Rotary Club Foundation

The Dallas Rotary Club Foundation is the Rotary Club of Dallas' Foundation that funds our Club's philanthropic efforts.

The Club Foundation was established in 1954 to serve as the philanthropic arm of the Rotary Club of Dallas. Each year the Foundation allocates charitable funds that the Club budgets.

The Foundation supports programs such as: scholarships to deserving students, bicycle and child safety, fighting crime in Dallas, free enterprise education, honoring veterans, literacy for children, mentoring high school students, providing clean water, recognizing teachers, supporting families in need and developing youth leadership.

In donating to the Foundation you are eligible for the following donor recognition opportunities:

  • Cullum Patron | $10,000+
  • Heritage Fellow | $25,000+

The Annual Fund
The Foundation seeks unrestricted gifts to the general funds of the Foundation through our annual pledges. Many give this during the time of their birthdays, but gifts can be made anytime. Donors typically make gifts of cash or stock, but gifts from other capital assets are also welcome.
Planned Giving
There are many ways you can leave a legacy to sustain the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation that serves as the philanthropic arm of the Rotary Club of Dallas, while at the same time providing yourself and your family (or other beneficiaries) with significant tax benefits. In addition to outright, tax-deductible cash gifts, there are other creative ways to give, including:
  • Gifts of stock or other assets;
  • A bequest in your Will; or
  • Beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy, 401(k) or IRA.
If you choose to include the Foundation in your estate plans, please let us know so we can recognize you as a member of the Golden Wheel Society. This Society is for dedicated supporters who have chosen to leave a legacy to the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation.
Endowed Naming Opportunities
With an eye on the future, funding will be needed for scholarships, literacy, water and sanitation and youth educational focused programs. Your support will distinguish the Rotary Club of Dallas as a driving force of good for these service programs.
The Foundation offers endowed naming opportunities starting at $25,000 or more for the following programs:
  • $160,000 establishes a new scholarship fund with naming rights that will provide an annual $8,000 scholarship to a deserving qualified student.
  • $25,000 or more to assist in endowing and $200,000 to permanently endow literacy programs that will benefit the children in Dallas with naming rights.
