What is Rotary? You’ve no doubt seen the ubiquitous Rotary logo. As the world’s oldest service organization with more than a million members around the globe, it’s literally everywhere. A symbol of service, fellowship and goodwill, the Rotary wheel is one of the most recognized logos in the world. Members of The Rotary Club of Dallas represent a cross-section of the community’s owners, leaders, executives, managers, political leaders and professionals - people who make decisions and influence policy. Whether you are new to Dallas, new to a job or are just looking for a way to enjoy old friends or meet new ones, Rotary is your connection! Our subject matter ranges from the local political scene to matters of international importance. Rotary is nonpolitical and nonreligious, a place where we value all points of view. From its inception, Rotary and its members have been committed to serving others. Formed in 1905 as a way for professionals to meet and share fellowship, the Rotary ideals of service and friendship touched a chord. Today 1.2 million Rotarians belonging to more than 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries worldwide work to promote international understanding, peace and the belief that by serving our communities we can make the world a better place.
